Xiaomi POCO X2, Full Details and Specifications

Xiaomi POCO X2- Full Details and Specifications

After long hype waiting and the success of Poco F1, Xiaomi finally going to further continue its Poco Series this year. But now the plan is changed because now POCO has become an independent smartphone brand this month and they are releasing their multiple devices of Poco series. This series is started with Poco X and Xiaomi confirmed its new released device of this series that is Poco X2 which was recently launched on February 4th 2020. This device is already released in China which was introduced as Redmi K30 and now released in India too but with a little bit change. So let’s talk about all the specifications which are confirmed from Xiaomi.

Display & Design

It has an IPS LCD Full HD+ 6.6 inch Display with 20:9 aspect ratio. The display is very premium because it’s a 120Hz Display with a pixel resolution of 2400  × 1080 pixels and a higher refreshing rate. Therefore colour reproduction, multitasking, application drawer and switching between apps creates a smooth user experience especially when you are scrolling through the UI. The display is very much brighter compared to the other IPS Display mobiles because of 120Hz and a pixel density of 384 PPI so there is no any issue of brightness problem for outdoor use. There is Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and back side also which makes the device heavy approximately 209 grams. Phone is very shiny and polycarbonate plastic is framed on the edges. Design of this device looks quiet similar to the Redmi K30 but K30 device is for China users so we can assume that this is a new device for Indian users.

Cons

  1. Device is full of bloatware applications and games but the good thing is we can remove those unwanted apps which we never going to use.
  2. There was an expectation of Super Amoled display but no need to worry because device has 120Hz IPS display.
  3. Due to the large sensor there is slight camera bump, but the camera lens is scratch-resistant.
  4. Though there is no telephoto lens, it uses the software for offering 2x zoom.
  5. Speakers are not loud; sound becomes a liitle bit disturbing when volume level goes more than 60%.

Poco F1 launched with flagship level specs and a very surprising price. Well Poco really did great with Poco X2 but don’t think that this device launched as a successor of Poco F1. These days the market is very heavy and competitors are everywhere. So it has been launched as a mid-range smartphone not as a flagship premium level.
Let’s see what POCO X2 will raise the benchmark or will fizz out!!!
