9 Tips to improve battery life

This post is for those users who charge their smartphones in a very wrong way. All of us use smartphones and after battery drain, we need to plug it in a charging point. But people don’t know the right way of charging therefore the battery life of your mobile will not be able to run for a long time.
For example, You bought a new mobile and its battery backup was very excellent but after 2 years there is a huge difference in the battery life comparatively from the first day. The reason is you charge it in the wrong way.
Here I will give you 9 easy tips to improve battery life and maintain healthy.

1. Use Original Charger

Mobile and other devices like i-pods, laptops, tablets are equipped with lithium-ion batteries and it depends upon how we are using it. If you charge your phone with the original charger then it performs very well and battery life runs good. If the charger does not work properly then buy a new one from the official store. Do not use third party chargers, because if the power of the charger is separated then the performance and capacity of the battery can be affected and there are chances of overheating, bitter life and it may explode while any short circuit at home, so always keep in mind that charge the phone with the same charger.

2. Charging phone with High Watt Charger

Today fast charging is provided in many phones and there is a myth that if we are charging our cell phone with a high watt charger then it will charge very quickly but this is not true.
For example, Your smartphone has a 15W charger adapter but you are charging with an 18W or 30W charging adapter which is not possible because the charging capability of your smartphone is just 15W. In fast charging, more voltage is sent to the phone's battery, which immediately increases the temperature.

3. Remove Back Cover

We all are using a back case to protect our mobile screen which is obviously a good manner. Smartphones while charging normally generate heat but many users don’t know that a back case is also a reason for heat to impact the battery. Take care to remove its protective cover whenever you apply the phone on charging to avoid heating issues.

4. Never Overcharge
If you own a smartphone then you may also notice that many people leave the phone on charge for the whole night and sometimes leave their phone on charge and forget to plug out. These days Smartphone’s come with an auto power cut option, that is, the battery automatically stops taking extra charge. Keeping the phone on charge all night will not cause any major damage, but your battery life will likely be slightly reduced.

5. Don’t wait for 100%
Remember the charging formulae:
Don’t drain the battery less than 30% and don’t charge more than 90%. Restart your mobile once in a month and charge it fully up to 100% once in every 15 days. Because after 100% the flow of electrons in the battery continues and after fully charging it generates heat as I told earlier. Repeatedly charging reduces the overall battery life.

6. Avoid using Battery Saving Apps
Play Store has a lot of battery saving apps which confirms that if you install the app and charge your phone then it charges very fast. But the reality is there is no such application that can charge phones rapidly.
Think about it you are using an application that is running in your background and saving battery life. How is that possible? Third-party apps run continuously in the background, so do not use such apps, they affect the battery.

7. Do not use the phone while charging
Teenagers and kids who bought a new smartphone and have a lack of patience, they always use mobile while charging. They don’t know that it will harm their battery and also it’s very dangerous for them too. Whenever the phone is on charging or being charged by Powerbank, it should not be used. Because the temperature of the phone increases during use which can be a danger. Most of the people have experienced it when they were using their phone on charge and suddenly it explodes. Also don’t try to use earphones and headphones while your phone is on charge.

8. Automatic brightness
All of us use this feature in our daily life to adjust the brightness automatically when a smartphone senses the lights around it. But people don’t know it also consumes battery. In this feature the brightness adjusted automatically but noticed one thing, adjusted brightness glows a lot more as our requirement. But sometimes we need to adjust the brightness in an open place where we are not able to look at the mobile screen because it glows very lightly. So my advice is to use this feature before going outdoors and disable it when you do not need to adjust it.
